We suggest making a 1.5 hour stop here, which allows you to use the bathing pools or grab some quick food, but a shorter 1 hour stop is enough to just explore the temple, palace and gardens.

    This stop can be reached without any additional driving time. Tirta Gangga Palace is located roughly halfway your route. You'll get there around half an hour after departing Candidasa and it will take less than an hour to get to Amed from there.
